Lizzie Anne Designs

Pop over to the store as we have some fab new stamps by Lizzie Anne Designs in stock and here is my card using the Latte cup and Latte Saying. I've gone for an American style card today and sometimes you need to have a stamp which is more classic than cutesy. I loved these AMM Signature Accents too and they were ideal for stamping on and adding a little detail to my card.

Hugs,

I used one of the Accents on the back of my card to add my personalised stamp.

Spring minibook

I love spring and I always take lots of pictures of flowers. When I saw the Laura Ashley papers I knew that they were ideal for this little project.
To create the book I used:
Maya Rd chipboard book (but cos I am tight I only used 2 to make covers (I cut the pages from cardstock), leaving me 6 for another project!)
Laura Ashley contemporary stamps (I just love the Butterfly one! These are such a bargain at £10 for 4 wood mounted stamps!)
The butterfly embellishment is cut from one of the papers and coloured with inks.
Hope you like :)

A doggy layout

I created this layout using these cute doggy treats papers from Karen Foster. The chipboard arrow, circle and tab are from this lovely 7 Gypsies chipboard set.

To make this embellishment I used a wonderful material called Safmat - you run the film through a printer and make custom accents which are a little like rub on's. I wanted to add the wording 'please insert treats' to a die cut bone shape on this layout - Safmat was the perfect way to achieve this as the letters I wanted were quite small, and secondly I could never have got such accurate placement had I printed onto card and then die cut. I've used a flash here so you can see where the Safmat sticker is, but on the layout it is almost invisible.

I hope you enjoy my amazing dancing dog! See you soon.

Summer's Here!

So I made a summery card with this lovelystamp Lily & Milo called At the Beach. I made 'waves' using a swirl stamp and Brilliance Ink for shimmer. I stamped Lily and coloured her with Twinking H20's (have I mentioned that I REALLY like Twinkling H20s?) before cutting her out and sticking her to the card with 3D foam pads. The bottom of the card is covered with a piece of sandpaper to look like a beach. I hope you like it. I'm off to eat ice cream.....

I've been framed!

Hi all
Today I have this altered photo frame for you. The frame was from Ikea and cost just 79p. I covered the frame with Laura Ashley patterned paper, added a few stamped swirls and higlighted portions of them with glitter glue. To create the embellishment, I stamped a flower from the Laura Ashley contemporary stamp set and embossed it in gold. To create the lettering, I inked some chipboard letters with versamark and again embossed in gold.

I made this to match my wallpaper which has the exact same flower on it! Photo is of me and my dearest. Thanks for looking.

Love,
Katy x
