Laura Ashley range

We have at last received our delivery of the lovely new Laura Ashley range by Dovecraft. The range comes in both the traditional and the comtemporary styles so there really is something to suit all tastes.
Can't seem to take a photo which does it justice in today's murky lighting but we have got everything up on the website here

New arrivals

We just thought we would give you a glimpse of our new deliveries, which we are currently putting up on the website.


We have 11 different sets of twinkling H2Os here for adding the extra special touch to your stamping projects, along with some U-mount repositional mounting cushions for your unmounted stamps here


We have lots of gorgeous Doodlebug goodies, including , gingham ribbons, accent organdy ribbons, mini brads and the funky abc letter embellishments

We have even more new chipboard goodies from Maya Road

We finally have the ever-popular 12x12 Cropper Hoppers back in stock but while we were ordering we decided to go crazy and try out the 8x8 and 6x6 sizes too (which are super handy as they come ready and raring with dividers!)

We are working to try and get all the new goodies on ASAP so keep your eyes on the What's new section of the website!

Hooray ... at last!

The first releases from our new range will be released on our website this afternoon.

We do have a limited number in stock but we will be releasing more designs very soon and will be able to replenish stock on a weekly basis.

I hope you enjoy using them as much as we enjoyed making them.

We had so many brilliant suggestions we couldn't actually decide between them so we delegated the decision making to our designer.

We looking forward to a very busy but exciting weekend as we prepare for the launch of the stamp collection early next week.

Egg-cellent Easter Stamps!

Sneaky peaks and naming competition

Our new yummy range of clear stamps are currently being manufactured so we thought we'd give you a sneaky peak of what to expect

Now on to the competition side of things - our new little people have no names as yet so we would like you to name them for us! One entry per person only and please submit your entries via the blog comments. The closing date will be midnight on Thursday 6th March for all competition entries.
The winner will be announced (along with the new names!) on Friday 7th March via the blog and they will receive the first stamps to come off our production line.

Call out for Design Team members

We are delighted to annouce that we are ready to set up a design team for Silly Monkey Crafts and are taking applications now.
We are looking for anybody who can create inspiring and beautiful work, no prior design team experience is necessary.
The commitment will be for 6 months to start with, although this is likely to be extended.
The successful candidates will receive a kit each month to base their work on and the remaining stash and their work will remain theirs to keep. DT members will also receive 15% discount on our website.
Every month you will be expected to produce cards, layouts and/or special projects of your own choosing. The images will be placed on our website gallery but you will also need to post these to our blog, along with details on how you created your work.
We are looking for fun and varied team so we want applicants from across the crafting spectrum so we are not specifying card-makers or scrapbookers only - this is your chance to showcase your creativity. DT members will also be expected to take an active role on our blog

If you would like to apply to join our Design Team we will require the following information from you:

1. 3 images of the pieces of work which best sum up your style (these can be cards, layouts, ATCs, mini-books or whatever you choose!). Please also provide instuction on how you produced your work. If you have any pieces which you feel look best 'in the flesh' we are happy for your creations to be sent via post so long as they are received by the closing date.
2. Your email address.
3. A short description about you and your craft bio (please let us know if you are part of any other design teams and if/where you have had work published - this is just to get a better picture of applicants - you will not be judged on this)
4. Supporting information - what crafts do enjoy the most? Why do want to be on our DT?
5. If you have a blog please send us the link so we can take a peak

The above information should be sent to info@sillymonkeycrafts.com with DT application in the subject line. Closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 21st March. We will not be able to consider and applications received after this date
