We are looking for anybody who can create inspiring and beautiful work, no prior design team experience is necessary.
The commitment will be for 6 months to start with, although this is likely to be extended.
The successful candidates will receive a kit each month to base their work on and the remaining stash and their work will remain theirs to keep. DT members will also receive 15% discount on our website.
Every month you will be expected to produce cards, layouts and/or special projects of your own choosing. The images will be placed on our website gallery but you will also need to post these to our blog, along with details on how you created your work.
We are looking for fun and varied team so we want applicants from across the crafting spectrum so we are not specifying card-makers or scrapbookers only - this is your chance to showcase your creativity. DT members will also be expected to take an active role on our blog
If you would like to apply to join our Design Team we will require the following information from you:
- 3 images of the pieces of work which best sum up your style (these can be cards, layouts, ATCs, mini-books or whatever you choose!). Please also provide instuction on how you produced your work. If you have any pieces which you feel look best 'in the flesh' we are happy for your creations to be sent via post so long as they are received by the closing date.
- Your email address.
- A short description about you and your craft bio (please let us know if you are part of any other design teams and if/where you have had work published - this is just to get a better picture of applicants - you will not be judged on this)
- Supporting information - what crafts do enjoy the most? Why do want to be on our DT?
- If you have a blog please send us the link so we can take a peak
The above information should be sent to info@sillymonkeycrafts.com with DT application in the subject line. Closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 21st March. We will not be able to consider and applications received after this date

We are down to the final shortlist now so should be announcing the new design team tomorrow or Monday.
The standard of applicants has been amazing and it has been very hard deciding between such talented applicants
this is exciting isnt it - will it be annouced today?
We have emailed the successful applicants and are just awaiting confirmation of their acceptance (hopefully!) now.
Am very excited too and can't wait to make the announcement
