Matchmakin' Maynard

The cute dragon on my card today is High Hopes Matchmakin' Maynard and is available to buy along with tons of High Hopes stamps in the store. My image is coloured with Prismacolor Premier Pencils with Sansodor and paper stumps for blending. I stamped the image on Concord card. I then finished my image by adding a little Stickles to Maynard wings and heart on his arrow to give a little added sparkle.

Just a note

Just a quick little ATC I made using one of the cute new Valentine Tildas which are in the shop now. Isn't she just adorable and it doesn't have to be just for valentines - think she would be great as a 'hello' or 'just a note' type cards. (Will try and make this into a card and add it to this post when I'm done to show you)
Edited: as promised, have used it as a topper to make this card;
There are lots of new goodies arriving at the shop so make sure you check back often. I'm hoping to play with all my fab new goodies next week so should have more to show then.

Love birds!

Aren't these owls just the cutest pair and as well as being perfect for valentines I thought they would be great to use for an Anniversary card for my mother and father-in-law. It's not until April but now i'm well prepared! The clouds are part of the designer paper so thought it would be great to stamp the sentiment in the centre.

I didn't want my little owl lovers to be floating around in the air so I stamped them twice. Coloured one in full and then cut it out cutting off their tail feathers. I then stamped the image again and just coloured in their claws and tail feathers. I then cut just this part out from the second image. I stuck the fibre into place behind the main image then matched it up with the claws and tail behind on the second. Ta da.. you have them sitting on a little branch.. I think it turned out kinda neat don't you?

This cute couple along with lots of other yummy High Hope stamps can be found in the store.

Hugs,

Loving Christmas Wishes...

Hi Ladies,

Oh wow I can't believe is already Friday . Today I want to show you a card made with this cute stamp called "Amanda" from High Hopes. I got this stamp for long and barely used it, but when I received this paper from " My Mind's Eye" I knew I had to give it a try. All the highlighted items can be purchased at the store.

I
stamped the image on Watercolor paper and I colored it with distress re-inkers from Tim Holtz and an Aquash Watercolor Pen to blend the colors. I added a lot of stickles, some Prima flowers, brads , drew drops and some adhesive stones .
The sentiment stamp is from Magnolia's Winter collection.

Hugs,

LIM :)

Calender

This is the second month of the Karen Foster calender that I started back here and which I was supposed to have finished by now (but then hubby scuppered all my plans LOL.) My plan is to use all Magnolias throughout and the store now has some of the newer ones in like this cute skating pair which I just had to use for Feb as I think they look so romantic like that! However even if I don't finish it this year (which I'm hoping I will!) I can still use it for future years as it's a perpetual calender so it won't date! The good bit is, that you can buy both the calender and the bundle kit together at a great reduced price at the moment - think they make great presents (either made up or left blank for recipient to make their own)

Materials (highlighted items are available from SM and the link will take you straight there):

  • Images: tilda couple skating from new year Magnolia range, feb 14 seal stamp from their valentine range.
  • Colouring: Copic caio marker pens - my fantastic xmas pressie off hubby (I got 108 of them!!!)
  • DP : all the dp and stickers are from the calender bundle kit which goes with the blank calender, get both and save here. Makes it super easy to put together, especially if you are behind like me! Just 10 more months to go (swore I wouldn't be doing this again about this time last year LOL)
  • Other: 'Love' ticket from Tim Holtz 'adage' set - not sure if in stock at moment, the journalling ones are though.

Will try and complete some more months soon!

Seymore's Sick Day!

Yay, I'm back at last with a card to show you! Well as I have just recovered from a flu virus and with so much going around I thought it only appropriate that I use this cute High Hopes stamp "Seymore's Sick Day!" This adorable character can be purchased in the Store and for any new visitors we have a fabulous range of High Hopes stamps. The "Get Well Soon" sentiment is also from High Hopes. I stamped the sentiment in two parts so it would fit nicely on the SU tab punch.

Happy New Year to all our visitors!

Hugs
