Ice cream Innocence

I love the cute PI stamps as they are so quick to colour and great for paper piercing.  Here I used the cute 'Make mine a double' girlie and created a matching ice cream cone shaped card to put her on.  (Click on photo for closer view).

Image has been coloured with Copics and her dress paper pierced with a bit of patterened paper.  Ice cream card made out of Brown, beige and pink cardstock and have added Stickles to the hearts in her hair and dress and also over the sprinkles in the ice cream :)

PI quilled flower girl

Hello!  Hope the sun's out where you are (it is here, though not quite the 'heatwave' that's been forecasted more of a tepid wave!)  Anyway, here's another Pure Innocence cutie ('flower girl') and she's got blond hair for a change (I tend to colour most of mine with black hair out of habit).

Also, do you see the four paper flowers I've added to the bouquet in the patterned paper?  Well, after seeing all these quilling goodies going up on the site thought I'd give it a go.

The daisy flower is just basic quilling of 6 loose circles pinched at one end to create the teardrop shape and the centre is a quilled tight circle.  The yellow and pink pom pom looking flowers are just strips I have fringed with scissors before quilling then fluffing out.  Then the fourth flower if you can call it that is the teeny tiny lilac rose bud.  You can find loads of instructions for quilling if you just google it.  Quilling is an artform in itself and you can take it to a whole other level but for me, it's just a fun way to add little embellies to my stamped images.  I think I'll be doing more of the fringed flowers as they will be great for the centres of my punched out paper flowers.

MFT ~ Sunshiney day

Hello.  Here's a card using one of the Pure Innocence cuties.  This one is called 'Sunshiney day'.

I've coloured her with Copics and added stickles accent ('stardust' is my favourite I always seem to use) on the hearts in her top and to the butterfly.

PI ~ you make the grade A+

Oh, yes, it's another PI girlie, I just love them (and little birdie tells me there are more new ones on there way so best keep your eyes peeled)  This time I've used this cutie, 'you make the grade'.  Think she is fabulous for exam cards, teachers' cards or even general card for that 'A+' person in your life! :)

She's been stamped out 4 times and then cut out various bits before layering her up with foam pads. (see photos below for better view of the layering & depth).

The apple shaped cardbase was just hand drawn by me and cut out by hand, then covered in DP and added a little green stalk on top.  It opens upwards so it's hinged at the top, either side of the stalk.

Basket of eggs

Oh, look, it's another PI girlie, what a surprise!  but at least I've coloured her ALL in (with Copics), and not done any paper piercing this time ;)   I think she would make an 'egg-cellent' card for other occasions too (sorry, couldn't help myself!) depending on the sentiment you used with her.  I think she's out of stock (told you they'd go quick!) but I'm sure if you asked nicely they can be restocked ;)

PI ~ Fairy Girl

Oooo, I'm loving these Pure Innocence cuties and it seems you are too, as quite a few have sold out already, so you best be quick.

Here's one using 'Fairy Girl'. 

Bit of paperpiercing for her dress again (can't seem to stop doing that with these :) ), a touch of colouring with Copics and stickles added for glittery wings and wand, some pretty dp and gems and job done.  Wanted to keep it simple & sweet.  The fab little sentiment is 1 of 2 included in the set and because they are clear stamps I can bend it on my acrylic block to stamp so that it creates the wavy writing.
