'January' sale

Hello

Hope everyone had a fab Christmas. We had a brilliant day and twins got lots of lovely pressies (plus managed to join us in the overeating!)

We have had a very long day today trying to sort out our 'January' sale and move all the products to the right sections but we are finally finished so you can be amongst the first to check out the sale here

This sale is by far our biggest yet as we have over 800 products with up to 75% off and once they are gone they are gone!

Why not grab yourself a nice cuppa and/or glass of wine and have a good browse through and see what takes your fancy - there really is something for everyone.

I am really looking forward to clear some shelf space so we can fill them with more exciting new products in 2009.

Have a fab 2009

Lulu's Sweet Delights!

I have made this card for 1 year old twins. I stamped the cute CC Design's Lulu stamp twice. Don't they just look so sweet? I love these little itzie inkies and they come in a metal tin and have a good variety of stamps. I've used the pom pom ribbon to add a little fun and texture to the card. The punch is one of my favorites and is Martha Stewart's Dolly Lace. Links to products in the store can be found below. There are lots of yummy CC stamps to be found!

Happy Valentines Day!

Here is a card I made today using the cute High Hopes stamps Perching Birdie, Landing Birdie, Nest, Branch and sentiment "Love Nest Valentine". Ok.. I know i'm so organized making a Valentine's card when it's December but it's only 9 weeks away! These stamps would also be perfect for Anniversaries or just to say hello to a friend in Springtime. The branch is versatile and can also be used horizontally.

I thought you would also like to see this card made by my 8 year old daughter Zoe for her teacher using High Hopes Mary J Teacher Angel and her desk. You thought these stamps were just for end of year cards.. right! Well with the Lg. Santa hat this was just perfect for her teachers Christmas card too!

Hope you had a great weekend!

Tons of new goodies in stock

We have been very busy in the last few weeks, not just packing up all your festive orders but we have been indulging ourselves in quite a bit of ordering too.

In order to make way for all our new arrivals we have created a sale category to make it easier to hunt for bargains (but be warned there are a lot of bargains in that section!) - once they have gone they have gone.

We have been going embellishment crazy and we have some yummy buttons by American Crafts and Maya Road. I just adore the trinket tins the Maya Road buttons come in and, yes, you can buy the tins on their own (if i haven't caved in and bought them all for myself!). I am still on the look out for more variety of buttons so if you have a favorite let me know and i will hunt them down

We also have some new ribbons and plenty more to come but i am just in love with this yummy Maya Road velvet blossom trim, sold by the metre and sooooooo strokable

Our last batch of Tim Holtz stamps sold out so quickly we have restocked and increased our range of these stunning arty sets. make sure you don't miss your favorite this time!

We have some yummy alterable goodies here and i think one of the tins would be great for storing the cards i have made but not yet sent in but as i have only made one Christmas card so far this year I think I will need to wait until I have had a few days of creative blasting and hope they haven't all disappeared by then!
I can already picture mine covered in some yummy papers and ribbons with a few of my favorite stamped images on

I admit I am a little bit obsessed with Maya Road but it seems lots of you are too as their chipboard books are always a huge hit and some of the lines have sold out already - sorry!

If your stamps look anything like mine then you should join me in writing to Santa and begging him for one of Tim Holtz's gorgeous unmounted stamp storage solutions - I really hope i am not on the naughty list this year but i will be leaving out extra mince pies this year and hoping

Stickles are so popular we have decided to stock the Ice Stickles range too (and we also have distress stickles coming in the next week or two so we are looking forward to getting our hands on those

Personal Impressions have brought out some cute clear stamp sets, which are great value, along with the brilliant hIDe ID stamp. The hIDe ID stamp allows you to render to render your personal details unreadable so that you can recycle your papers without needing to shred (lots of areas don't allow shredded paper to be recycled as it is a fire hazard in the recycling plant!)

Last but not least we have increased our range of distress inks up to the full 25 colours

I hope I haven't bored you to death with all that lot!

We have got some more very exciting arrivals due in next week - those of you who are very eagle eyed might spot some very cute preorders on the website, i am checking the online tracking a scary number of times a day and can't wait for these to arrive from the US.

Another little batch of newbies we have on the way have me so excited i just want to punch something ........ hmmm......not like me to get violent!

Enjoy (and thanks for staying awake if you managed to read this far!)

Bryony

PS - Ooops sorry forgot to say that we are still having problems getting the Tuxedo black memento ink pads into stock but we have got memento tuxedo black ink pens in until the pads are back in the country!

My First Post ...High Hopes Christmas card.

Hi Everyone,

I am finally able to show my first card using the wonderful goodies that Bryony sent to me. I'm sorry it took me so long but my computer crashed and it took a little time to get it back to work. I'm finally back and hope to be able of having something new to show you every week.

I can't stop using this beautiful Ellie elephant from High Hopes. For me it's so versatile. I can use it as a Birthday card or a baby card or as I am using it today... .a Christmas card. Only thing missing is a Santa hat but I can't find my stamp and do not have any die for that, sorry. I added crystal effect to the whole image to incorporate a little bit of dimension, even though at the time I took the picture it was not dry yet.

All the highlighted materials are from the shop.

Materials: I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday!!

Hugs,

Lim :)

Sarah Kay 'picnic time'

I am loving the new Sarah Kay release (but then I love them all!). Have you pre-ordered yours yet or added them to your christmas wish list?! I'm glad I have as I see 1 of them is sold out already!!

Anyway, there is one that I was lucky enough to have already so couldn't resist inking her up and making a quick card with 'picnic time'

Materials:

Christmas Preperations

I love Basic Grey papers and the Figgy range is no exeption! and I've added some dry embossing with the cuttlebug folders onto a couple of the more plain papers.

Sarah [Christmas Preparations] has been coloured with distress inks

The paper beads are also made from the same BG range and are really easy to do:

Cut a strip of matching design paper approx 6″ x 2/3″ and cut both long sides from the middle to the end to make a point:

Then take a tooth pick or something simular and roll the paper along, starting from the widest [uncut] bit.

before you reach the end, add some glue so it sticks to the bead when closed.. pull out the stick and voila.. you got your own hand-made bead that is a perfect match to the papers you are using!

I just adore these gorgeous Bo Bunny papers which I customised with the tag punch and got Zoe to handwrite it. Underneath the tag the paper said "Love Emma" so thought it would be neat to personalise it. You might notice that all my Tilda's with plaited hair are coloured brown as they remind me of Zoe!

Yet another gorgeous batch of High Hopes

We have been very busy for the last week trying to get all our High Hopes stamps in order. We are slightly addicted to them and I just can't seem to stop ordering more and more but as they sell so quickly as soon as they hit the store and we have just ended up with many, many random boxes of the different collections and different batches from orders. It has taken us the full week to get them all sorted into our lovely organised wall unit and shuffled into code order so we started to feel like we would never want to see another High Hopes stamp again......

......but ............

...... then we opened our box of the latest stamps and have fallen in love all over again!

We have even more festive stamps, along with some gorgeous romantic ones for those of you organised enough to be thinking ahead to Valentine's day already.
I am particularly excited by the background stamps and the tree, branch and swing!

Go and check them in our new products section here

Hope you like them as much as we do!

Bryony
