Travel minibook

This is a little minibook I made for a holiday I took in 2005 and STILL haven't scrapped! I thought if I did a minibook it might finally get commemorated. The little hinges you see are from this set of 7 Gypsies chipboard, as are the tabs I used (below).

This book was inspired by these wee Maya Rd tags I had in my DT kit - at less than a pound these are a fabulous little embellishment for a minibook or scrapbook page. This was really quick to make - I just added Bazzill cardstock and some stamped words - but because I had to finish the chipboard myself it adds a personal touch to the album. You really need this cute baby one too!

High Hopes Leilani

This cute little stamp is from High Hopes and is called Leilani. This is one of many gorgeous High Hope stamps available in the store. The paper is from a pack called Retro Floral by Dovecraft and were just perfect to go with this stamp. The button brads are by Making Memories. I coloured this image with my Copics. I cut the layout and letters using my Cricut Expression.

High Hope Tea Angels and Cherry Arte Papers

I made this folder after receiving one in an image swap which inspired me to make my own. The folder was made using half a sheet of 12" x 12" Bazzill which I folded and scored. The gorgeous High Hope stamp is called "Tea Angels". There are lots of new High Hope stamps over in the store. The beautiful papers are from the Cherry Arte - Kitty Lou Range.

High Hopes 'for' Cherry Arte

Have you checked out the yummie High Hopes stamps yet? :)

They are soo sweet!.. Here I have used Bethany Angel coloured with distress inks and touched up with H2O's.. Like Nikki's gorgeous card in previous post, you can't see the shimmer very well in the photo.

The Patterned Paper is from Cherry Arte's Little Friends range.. you can check out all the products here

Aw, cute

A little card I made with the new Lily & Milo stamps, using the Milo "Puppy Love" stamp and Laura Ashley contemporary papers. I coloured the stamp using Twinkling H20s (if you don't have any, you NEED these, I absolutely love them. You can't pick it up from the photo but they have the most gorgeous shimmer without being overly sparkly). I finished with one of these Maya Road button embellishments (also coloured with the H20s).

I think this would make a lovely card for a little boy. Thanks for looking. See you soon!

Coming soon!

Our shipment of the lovely Lily & Milo stamps by Rachelle Anne Miller are on their way to us and you can check them out here. If you sign up for email notifications via the website you can be amongst the first to find out when they arrive.

Just for a real tease we have also got the gorgeous Sarah Kay stamps up and ready for their release in June so you can get a sneaky peak at them here. Apologies for the random numbering of these lovelies but they haven't yet been named. We are already getting a lot of enquiries about the Sarah Kay range so they are welll worth keeping your eye on as we may release these for pre-order once we can be more certain of when they will be with us.

I am really looking forward to seeing both these ranges in the flesh and also seeing what amazing creations our talented design team come up with using them - no pressure ladies!

Canvas project

I made this little canvas for my OH for his study - it's of his recently born Godson. I used the Cherry Arte Cosmic Energy patterned papers. At first glance these papers are very bright and bold, but here I have used the reverse side to create a piece with a more subdued colour scheme (I used Asteriods, No Radar and Milky Way papers). Other supplies included Bazzill (the matching Bazzill pack for these papers is currently on offer), and stamped images from Mindy's Zoo stamps (but you could always substitute these lovely High Hopes animal stamps instead). The letters are cut with my Sizzix.

To make the canvas, I painted the edges of the canvas first of all, then added the papers (wrapping the striped paper around the edges) and photos (main photo is 6x4 and the small one 1.25square). I decopaged the stamped animals to give more depth and finally added a journalling block with some details about Oliver and die cut title. I stamped the images onto patterned paper for more interest before colouring some portions with brush markers. The canvas I used was approx 8x8, so this would also translate easily to a great scrapbook page in that size. Thanks for looking!
